Season
DOUGLAS AQUATICS: TEAM TRAINING
All employees MUST attend one DA Team Training session before being able to work this summer. These sessions are PAID and will cover information on customer service, safety, and online scheduling. Swimsuits and apparel will be available for purchase at all orientation and team training events.
NEW GUARD AND PARENT ORIENTATION:
Orientation for guards and parents are for NEW staff members only! It will be a chance for you to learn all the policies and procedures for Douglas Aquatics. These sessions will take place one hour before the mandatory DA Team Training.

Douglas Aquatics Manager and Supervisor Staff Team Training
All Managers and Asst. Managers will need to attend this MANDATORY, PAID session!
We will review payroll procedures, scheduling guidelines, in-service trainings and other policies.

SWIM LESSON INSTRUCTORS:
Interested in teaching swim lessons this summer? (All instructors must be at least 16 years old)
Advantages of Becoming a Douglas Aquatics Instructor:

develop necessary skills and reach goals.)
All swim instructors for 2008 will need to attend one of two training sessions to cover administrative procedures as well as instructor skills.

Suits are sold as packages which include 2 shirts, whistle and uniform:

Scheduling:
Availability needed from all lifeguards! Your vacations listed on your applications will be used. When availability surveys are sent out, make sure to fill out and return ASAP to avoid any scheduling conflicts!.
